Waiting for a posting

Frequency is a signal, not a verdict. A term that appears once in the requirements can matter more than a word repeated in company boilerplate.

About this tool

The extractor counts meaningful words and two-word phrases in the posting, removes common English stop words and boilerplate, and ranks what remains. Hard skills, credentials and repeated role language rise to the top; adjectives and perks usually fall away.

Use it to check your own reading of the posting, not to replace it. Frequency tells you what the employer emphasises; judgment tells you which terms you can honestly claim. Terms you cannot demonstrate in a bullet should stay out of your resume.

Common questions

Does it handle multi-word skills?

Yes — it ranks two-word phrases such as “project management”, “data analysis” and “customer success” alongside single words. Multi-word requirements often matter more than the individual words inside them.

Should I paste my resume too?

Not here. Use the ATS checker if you want keyword coverage measured against your resume. This tool focuses on extracting the posting's vocabulary.

Is the job description saved?

No. It exists only in the page while you use it. Nothing is stored locally or transmitted.
